After so much writing, revising, and dreaming, I am so excited to share this book with you. Rose is a character who is dear to my heart. She wants so desperately to be seen and loved for who she is, and is determined to take charge of her life. My obsession with Jane Austen and Austen scholarship, Bridgerton, witches, and cults have all aligned to create this story with heart, intrigue, and friendship, and romance.

When I started writing with the goal of writing a book by the time I turned 30, I had no idea that I would discover such a passion for writing. I have learned so much since completing the first draft in November 2021 about the craft of writing, the publishing industry, and the wonderful community of writers who have supported this journey.
